Scholarly information plays a vital role in a Research and Activities & Services:
Development (R&D) institute. The Knowledge Resource - Organization and maintenance of library collections as
Centre (Library) of IMMT facilitates the information needs well as dissemination of Knowledge & Information
of researchers in the institute. The Knowledge Resource
Centre (Library) of IMMT has created a knowledge resource - Providing library & Information services to the scientists
base of more than 31,900 volumes of Books and Bound and research scholars
Journals in the subject areas of Extractive Metallurgy, - Technical processing of library collection and Resources
Materials Science, Mineral Processing, Geology, Organic (Acquisition, Classification, Cataloguing & Circulation)
Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Natural Products, Energy - Updating & Processing of CSIR Knowledge gate database
and Environment. Under CSIR-DST National Knowledge (OPAC)
Resource Consortium, this center provides online access
to more than 4500 full-text Journals from about 15 leading - Manage & Processing of IMMT Pre-publications
publishers of S&T Journals, Web of Science database, - Access and Manage of library e-resources
ASTM & Bureau of Indian Standards. Detailed online
resources are available on the institute website under the - Reference services, Current Awareness Services, and Lit-
KRC page. An e-learning center became a reality during erature Search
