Possible mechanism of formation of bio-based magnetite nanoparticles for
efficient adsorption of Cr (VI) from ground water
Green synthesis of bio-based Au@g-C3N4 nanocomposite for photocatalytic degradation of
methyl orange
Synthesis of Au@g-C N is carried out using polar

biomolecules of Averrhoa carambola as reducing and
stabilizing agents. The composites are characterized by
using different characterization techniques like XRD, DRS
UV–vis, FT-IR, and TEM analysis to study the structural
and optical properties. Further, the photocatalyitic activity
of the as synthesized nanocomposite is evaluated for
the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange. The as
prepared 1 wt% Au@g-C N with fresh leaf extract showed

remarkable performance for methyl orange degradation
under light illumination. The green synthesized Au@g-
C N could be used as an efficient photocatalyst for methyl
