Possible mechanism of formation of bio-based magnetite nanoparticles for
                                         efficient adsorption of Cr (VI) from ground water


               Green synthesis of bio-based Au@g-C3N4 nanocomposite for photocatalytic degradation of
                                                     methyl orange

            Synthesis  of  Au@g-C N   is  carried out  using  polar

            biomolecules  of  Averrhoa  carambola  as reducing and
            stabilizing  agents. The composites  are  characterized  by
            using different characterization techniques like XRD, DRS
            UV–vis,  FT-IR,  and  TEM  analysis  to  study  the  structural
            and optical properties. Further, the photocatalyitic activity
            of  the  as  synthesized  nanocomposite  is  evaluated  for
            the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange. The as
            prepared 1 wt% Au@g-C N  with fresh leaf extract showed

            remarkable performance for methyl orange degradation
            under  light illumination.  The  green  synthesized  Au@g-
            C N  could be used as an efficient photocatalyst for methyl
