Environmental pollution monitoring in and around Paradip Port, Paradip, Odisha
The port activity can cause deterioration of air quality, of waste from the various point and non-point sources,
marine water quality, sediment quality, and noise level and predict pollution levels for the future. Environmental
at the Paradip city and surrounding areas due to diverse monitoring and analysis work of Pradip Port and its
activities. Hence, regular monitoring and assessment are surrounding area includes Air, Water, Sediment, and Noise
required to identify pollution sources, control and dispose Environment (Fig. 1a &1b).
